GP/ Family Physician, Toronto, Scarborough (Ontario), $440k to $770k

This is a rather rare opportunity to work in a High Earning and with a well-structured group of Clinics in Toronto. The environment is very supportive of IMG’s. The Clinic owner is a person very easy to get on with (very amicable and respectful). The role is in a popular location with GPs in Toronto (Scarborough) with high patient demand.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• A well Structured and Supportive Group of 7 clinics in Toronto and Greater Toronto with a site in North York (City of Toronto)
• $440k to $770k billings in this high-earning clinic. There is a long patient list (currently 3 or 4 hours wait to be seen in walk-ins).
• 25% overheads (75/25 split) which very good given the level of staffing and support included in the overheads. Also, no VAT/HST is charged on the overhead, which is different from some other clinics in Ontario.
• You’ll be able to see a mixture of walk-ins and pre-booked (FHG model)
• The owner is a very amicable doctor who would mentor the new starts.
• The is a high level of support from management and between doctors who are often interacting. This is between GPs but also between GPs and Consultants. Doctors cover each others too for annual leave (different from some other clinics where you’d have to find a locum to replace you).
• There are extra Medical Specialist Services and specialists on site: Nephrology, Endocrinology, Allergy, Orthopaedics surgeon, Urology, Internal medicine, Neurology + a Complete Cardiac Clinic. This is a great opportunity to work with secondary care, but also get easy referrals.
• The Clinic is staffed above the average in Ontario, with Receptionists, Clinic Manager, Billing Specialist (to check and optimise your billings), Physician Assistants (optional), Dedicated IT person.

• LMIA paid by the clinic is experienced in LMIA processing for UK GPs.
