THE CLINIC
> Large clinic in a State of art building, built very recently
> Other services in the same building: Pharmacy, Dental clinic, Audiology and massage
> Mixture of Walk-in and pre-booked patients
> The clinic is near Winnipeg, the largest and capital city of Manitoba. So you’ll have the choice to live the city life or somewhere quieter, whilst being in both cases close to the clinic.
> Very friendly owner, who has worked in the UK NHS before, and who seems to care about the work life balance of his GPs (and them spending enough time with their families!)

BENEFITS
> Fee for Service, 80% for Physician and 20% for clinic
> £140,000 to £260,000 net income ($300,000 to $500,000 gross income = before clinic overhead are taken off). * Although the clinic is close to the province capital city , it is classified as rural which attracts a 5% rural top up)
> $10,000 Relocation fee
> Spouse employment support: The clinic owner has an extensive network of contacts in the Winnipeg area and he would personally use it to help the spouse find work.
> Virtual calls on snow days or as needed
> Special interests are encouraged (e.g. Minor ops, dermatology, joint injections/sports medicine, Cancer, Care homes, etc). There is also a hospital across the road, where GP can also work for their special interest.

WORK CONDITIONS
> 40hr week or more (if desired)
> Clinic Opening time: 9:00am to 17:00
> Typical clinic day mixture of booked and walk in patients. 25- 40 patients daily according to Doctor’s preference.
> 15 minutes average consultation length (for single item consultation)
> Minimum 20 patients per day, but most likely 30 to 40 a day (a lot of walk-ins).
