Also, they have sponsorship licenses and licensed GP supervisors, which allow them to hire GPs from the UK without the need for the MCCQE1 exam (this is a recent development and not all the clinics can provide that). With them, you’d be in one of the best hands to get you up and running in Canada quickly and smoothly, with a good billing volume.

• Very established group of clinics (choice of multiple locations in Edmonton)
• Unique level of staffing of the clinic: Clinical Assistant (rare to be included in overheads), Clinic Manager, Centralised referral team, Chief Medical Officer, billing analysts (help improve billings), accounts receivable clerks, occupational health specialists, WCB representatives, EMR (software) specialists.
• Expert in house licensing and immigration team (useful as getting licensed without exam in Alberta can be tricky)
• Thank to this high level of support, you can expect to go through a smooth relocation process, be up and running very quickly and significantly increase your billing levels.
• Mentoring by Chief Medical Officer and by supportive colleagues
• Gross billings: $350,000 to $750,000 (they often see GP from smaller clinics coming to them to get higher billings)
