COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

> Remuneration/session: Up to £11,500 per session (depending on experience)
> View to Partnership?: There is an imminent retirement of one of the GP partners, so there will be a partnership opportunity if desired
> Drawings/session for partner: 15000
> Professional Indemnity paid?: Yes
> Annual Leave: 6 weeks + Bank holidays (flexibility to book annual leave during school holidays)

> Patient list size: Between 5,000 and 7,500
> Population Type: Mixed
> IT System: Emis
> Dispensing: Yes
> Clinical Support Staff: Clinical Pharmacists, Acute Care Nurse practitioner, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Phlebotomists,Care Coordinators. Proactive and embedded ARRS workforce: First Contact Practitioners, Health and Wellbeing Coaches
> CQC Rating: Good
> QOF Score: between 90% and 95%
> Building type: State of the art purpose-built Health Centre
> GP Practice contract with the NHS: GMS

ABOUT THE ROLE

> Role location: Eastbourne area
> NB of sessions available: Between 4 and 9 sessions
> Desired worked days: Flexible
> Patients to be consulted per session: 15
> Duty GP system: Duty is only for 1 session at a time.
> Frequency of home visits: Rare home visits (less than 1 every two weeks for the GP). Nurse practitioners do the home visits. If visits happen, they are taken off patient contacts.
> Possibility to develop or practice a special interest?: The practice is actively planning to become a training practice, so this could be a plus for a trainer or someone having a special interest in training
> Meetings: Weekly
> Workload optimisation: Good Document Management system, routine prescripitions handled by a dedicated person, the surgery has implemented workflow optimisation for several years now, self-generated admin work.
> Staff tenure: Long term doctors in place
> Onsite parking: Yes

REQUIREMENTS

> Level of experience required: Newly Qualified as well as experienced General Practitioner
> Accepting Tier 2 applicants?: Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate
